It’s the year 2030, and Empact Global stands at the center of a transformed world—a world where inequities in health, education, and community have begun to shift toward balance, and futures thinking is no longer a luxury, but a necessity.Five years ago, in 2025, Empact Global made bold moves that set this journey into motion. The partnership with NASA on Convergent Aeronautics Solutions sparked a ripple effect, showcasing the power of systems thinking, futures methodologies, and human-centered design in tackling complex challenges. NASA’s success stories opened doors, leading to collaborations with the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Department of Education, Health and Human Services (HHS), and state governments in North Carolina and California. These partnerships marked the beginning of Empact Global’s transition from a niche consultancy to an indispensable partner for organizations reimagining their systems for equity and resilience.By 2026, Empact Global had established itself as the go-to firm for organizations seeking to address not only today’s pressing issues but also the challenges of tomorrow. With its SBA 8(a), WOSB, and EDWOSB certifications, the organization secured critical government contracts that allowed it to embed futures work into federal and state agencies. Empact Global’s impact expanded to state-wide initiatives in North Carolina, Virginia and California, focusing on eliminating health deserts, improving educational equity, and integrating mental health into community systems.
The International Leap
In 2027, Empact Global took its first step onto the global stage, partnering with the government of Barbados to address climate resilience and sustainable development. The success of this partnership, which included integrating futures thinking into climate policy and economic planning, garnered attention far beyond the Caribbean. That same year, Empact Global launched projects in Kenya and South Africa, focusing on two critical challenges: equitable access to healthcare in rural communities and educational reform to prepare young people for an uncertain future. In Kenya, the organization collaborated with local governments and NGOs to implement a systems-based approach to improving maternal health outcomes. Meanwhile, in South Africa, Empact Global worked with schools and universities to design educational programs that integrated futures thinking, fostering a generation of resilient, adaptive leaders.
The Catalyst for Transformation
The work with NIH became a turning point in 2028. Empact Global developed a digital tool—building on the AI/SaaS application launched in 2025—that allowed public health organizations to map health inequities and predict the long-term impacts of interventions. This tool not only gained widespread adoption in the U.S. but was also piloted in Barbados, Kenya, and South Africa, proving its value on an international scale.
The partnership with the Department of Education also blossomed, with Empact Global helping to create a visionary framework for embedding futures thinking into K-12 education. By 2029, states across the U.S. began adopting this framework.
A New Era of Collaboration
In 2029, the organization’s partnership with Forbes Impact Labs matured into a global movement. Together, they co-created the Equitable Futures Network, a platform connecting changemakers across sectors and geographies. This network became a hub for innovative solutions to systemic inequities, driving conversations and action at the intersection of health, education, and community development.
Empact Global in 2030
Now, in 2030, Empact Global is more than a consultancy—it’s a global movement. Its impact spans continents, industries, and systems, touching the lives of millions. The organization has grown into a network of passionate futurists, designers, and changemakers, many of whom are BIPOC professionals empowered to lead the charge in their communities.
In NASA’s latest futures sprint, Empact Global facilitated a groundbreaking workshop on embedding mental health into the design of aviation, ensuring the well-being of passengers and crew on public and private air transport vehicles. Meanwhile, collaborations with HHS and the NIH have redefined how public health agencies approach equity, focusing on systems-level change rather than isolated interventions.
Empact Global’s international work continues to thrive. In Barbados, the government has adopted futures-informed strategies to build a sustainable blue economy. In Kenya, maternal health outcomes have improved dramatically, and in South Africa, educational reforms are preparing a new generation to face the complexities of a changing world with confidence.
The Legacy We’re Building
As the sun sets on 2030, Empact Global reflects on its journey. From its bold goals in 2025 to its global impact today, the organization has lived up to its mission: to reduce disparities in health, education, and community by reimagining systems and creating equitable futures. But Empact Global knows its work is far from done. The world is still complex, inequities still persist, and the challenges of tomorrow will require even bolder solutions. Yet, with every system transformed, every life improved, and every future reimagined, Empact Global proves that no barrier is insurmountable when equity is the goal and futures are the path forward.
And so, the journey continues.
